History
WMW is a patent law firm characterized by family tradition and located in Velbert-Langenberg.
1951 founded Ernst E. Weisse † the law firm „Weisse“ in Düsseldorf, having previously been head of the patent department of Askania-Werke in Berlin for many years.
1959 the patent law firm moved from Düsseldorf to Velbert-Langenberg, where it still has its headquarters today. Dipl.-Phys. Jürgen Weisse †son of Ernst E. Weisse, joined the patent law firm „Weisse“ at this time.
1972 was Dipl.-Chem. Dr. Rudolf Wolgast † joined the firm. Since then, the firm has operated under the name of Patent Attorneys „Weisse & Wolgast“.
1997 entered Dipl.-Phys. Jörg Weisse, son of Jürgen Weisse, joined the firm, now in the third generation.
2006 the firm expanded with Dipl.-Phys. Nicolas Moltmann its expertise.
2013 the Velbert law firm Weisse & Wolgast merged with the Munich law firm Willems, which had been established since 1997. Due to the fusion and entry of Dipl.-Geophys Dipl.-Geophys. Volker Willems into the firm, its name and legal form were changed to Patent Attorneys „Weisse, Moltmann & Willems PartG“ with its main office in Velbert-Langenberg.
2023 entered M.Sc. Philip Weisse, son of Jörg Weisse, joined the patent law firm already in the fourth generation. The patent law firm operates under the current legal form „Patentanwälte Weisse, Moltmann & Willems PartG mbB" with its main office in Velbert-Langenberg.
