• Employee inventions
  In employee invention matters, we advise both employers and employee inventors. We assist with claims relating to inventor remuneration and with the negotiation and drafting of remuneration agreements. Upon request, we also support companies with their internal invention management processes and the administration of inventor remuneration.
• IP Agreements
  We draft and review licence agreements and agreements concerning the transfer or assignment of inventions and intellectual property rights. We also have extensive experience with cooperation agreements, research and development agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
• Expert opinions
  We prepare expert opinions on the validity and infringement of intellectual property rights. We also provide valuations of individual IP rights and IP portfolios, including for investors, insolvency administrators and competitors.
• IP strategy
  In close cooperation with our clients, we develop filing strategies for individual innovations and advise on aligning IP portfolios with business objectives, relevant markets and the competitive environment. We obtain and analyse strategic patent information to support business planning and decision-making. Upon request, we also monitor the IP activities of competitors. Our services further include Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses.
• IP Protection Abroad
  We work with a trusted network of IP law firms worldwide, many of which we have cooperated with for many years. This enables us to coordinate the protection and enforcement of our clients’ intellectual property rights internationally in cooperation with experienced local associates.
