Philip Weisse

Philip Weisse studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where he graduated with a Master of Science degree. His master’s thesis concerned research into profiled fibers in the textile industry with regard to their sound absorption.

He also acquired extensive knowledge in the field of driver assistance systems and autonomous driving by working for almost two years in the patent department of a major automotive supplier. Furthermore, this employment provided him with valuable insights into the innovation culture and strategy of an industrial corporation.

He completed his training as a patent attorney at a reputable law firm in Berlin. During this time, he consulted, among others, universities and companies in the field of mechanical and plant engineering. He was admitted as a patent attorney in October 2022 and joined WMW as a partner immediately thereafter.
