Philip Weisse
Philip Weisse studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where he obtained a Master of Science degree. His master’s thesis focused on profiled fibres used in the textile industry, with particular emphasis on their sound absorption properties.
During almost two years in the patent department of a major automotive supplier, he gained extensive expertise in driver assistance systems and autonomous driving. This role also provided him with valuable insights into the innovation culture and strategy of an industrial company.
He completed his professional training as a patent attorney at a renowned law and patent attorney firm in Berlin. During this time, he advised, among others, universities and companies in the fields of mechanical and plant engineering. He was admitted as a German Patent Attorney in October 2022 and joined WMW as a partner immediately thereafter.
