Jörg Weisse
Jörg Weisse studied physics at Technische Universität Berlin and graduated with a degree in physics (Diplom-Physiker). His diploma thesis focused on position- and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy of organic molecules. Following the Chernobyl nuclear accident, he worked at the radiation monitoring station of the Berlin Senate, where he further developed his expertise, particularly in measurement technology and nuclear physics. He subsequently worked for a tool manufacturer, gaining insight into industrial business processes as well as mechanical engineering and toolmaking.
Continuing a long family tradition, Jörg Weisse has worked in intellectual property law since 1994, representing the third generation of his family to do so. From 1994 to 1997, he completed his training as a patent attorney at Weisse & Wolgast and became a partner in the firm in 1997. Weisse & Wolgast later merged to form Weisse, Moltmann & Willems PartG mbB, where Jörg Weisse is senior partner.
Member of AIPPI, the German Association for Intellectual Property Law (GRUR), the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI), the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP), the Association of North Rhine-Westphalia Patent Attorneys and Schlüsselregion e.V.
